Edgbaston Croquet Club has been fortunate to have
been on its current site in this leafy area
of Birmingham since 1915. We lease the land from Calthorpe Estates
who have proved to be a most supportive landlord over the years. ( For more information on Calthorpe Estates
We
have three excellent full-size lawns and our own clubhouse.
We are a very friendly Club catering for players
of all abilities.
On club afternoons - Wednesdays and Saturdays - teas are organised, and
enjoyed outdoors if the weather is fine.
Both golf and association croquet are played.
Anyone wishing to try out the game can come for a
FREE INTRODUCTORY SESSION
Phone us to make an arrangement, or just drop in any Wednesday or Saturday between 2 p.m.
and 6 p.m.
Coaching in both codes of the game is available to members free of charge.
All equipment is provided free.
Members can play - or practice - at any time (except on our tournament dates)
but if they just want to enjoy the evening sunshine with a book

thats fine too!
Our season starts in April and continues until mid October.
During the winter members get together for social events, cinema visits, etc.
